Hi all, can any of you guys help me please, Ive got Y Z3 2.2 bmw. Ive just had a hip replacement,waitng for another.so shes got to go,tooo low to climb into now.Its a convertible and i am the 2nd owner, its only done 12.358 miles from new.New tyres last mot, not worn, perished, also brand new hood 12 mnths ago,somebody put a knife through it in birkenhead.any idea best place to advertise it, and a rough idea how much?.thanks guys.

heidi just had a look on ebay with the low milage you have your probabley looking for around £7000 at least but dont hold me to that .dont go to places like we buy any car cus they rip you off

www.autotrader.co.uk is a good place to look to get an idea of the value.

There are some 50k mile '02 cars on there for £6-6500, so I guess what Ian said "Whatcars" value was seems about right.

Have a bit of a hunt round yourself for prices - it will also depend what you are willing to accept and how fast you want to sell. Something that low milage may be worth £7000, but you may have to wait a few months for the right buyer, where as £6000 might get you a buyer next week.

...I guess another consideration is if you still owe anything on a loan for the car which must be covered by the sale.

Have a look at the prices on Autotrader, ebay, Pistonheads etc, but I recon £6200-£6800 sounds pretty accurate smile

These seem to have held their value really well. I don't expect my Z4 is worth much more than £7k at the moment!
