ive got a mk2 xr2 and am thinking of undersealing the car to prevent rust is this easy to do or is it expensive to get someone to do it

prettyeasy tbh, just make sure you remove and waxoyl any exisiting rust areas, then slap it on!

you can buy spray cans or 5ltr containers, id go for a 5ltr and just brush it on, you cant go wrong smile

have some thinners handy to get it off your hands and car body, its messy stuff and gets everywhere

Then just spray over the top. It leaves a nice rippled, plasticky finish. It's great for areas than get a lot of abuse.
Makes a nice change to just slapping Hammerite on, which is only good for gates.

You want underbody wax, if feeling adventurous buy the kit to inject into the cavities as well.
Stand your OPEN tin of wax in some warm water before hand, makes it easier to apply. Plenty of plastic sheeting on floor and paper overalls for you, trust me it gets FUN!!!
