It's just not right mate, it's like a coil pack has gone on it but I've tested them and they are ok. It's got to be the ecu as everything else has been checked.

fiats suffer with HG's same as rovers however the engines run fine however the temps off the gauge, the fire rings break between two cylinders and cause hot spots.
I think it has been put on the diognodtics but all seemed fine. But I'm not 100% on that as I didn't do it. Chris the car is in ellesmereport right now
yer, it can be running like that due to a load of other reasons, dodgy sensor giving false readings, (my diag system will read all sensors ) blocked fuel filter, dodgy spark plugs etc etc... not flagging fault codes
i doubt its the ECU personally, however if you can get the car to my garage ill give it a good look over, just bell/text me whenever
You can buy EEPROM programmers if you feel adventurous - has to be the right one for the type of 'chip'. This is how 'superchips' are done - they're shite!
