Bought a dvd headunit off here and its ace.
But how does it turn off,

The power button has -ON- AND -STANDBY-

(in standby mode its still lit up), not very security safe.

I am doing summit wrong, please note I am a muppet when it comes to car stereo's

Both the
ACC and +backup are wired to permanant lives, would that make a differance

its a wharfdale....i rest my case

And this helps in what way?

simply put its unlikely to be a problem with the "operator" and more likely to be a manufacturing fault as wharfdale headunits are notoriously crap...

there should be 2/3 lives into the HU one is for backlight etc make sure this is wired up to the light live if you get me?!

ive had that fault on some of mine.
