easy, use a nail, just harder getting the fuel into the car. Has the car got an external fuel filter near the tank? if so disconnect the pipe then run the pipe to the can then sut the ignition on. Pump will run and the can will fill.

Ok, look under the car and look for this....

It will come out of the tank, follow the pipe for around 1ft. Just so you can get it into the can then turn the ignition on. Let it fill then turn off.

Ok thanks for that, will let Dad look LOL when he next here.

On another note is there a place here to ask about second hand used cars, sort of advice, where to buy, cars to avoid etc.

Make another topic in the same part.

Dependent on makes some people know quite alot.

What type of car is it your after?

Whats the budget?

How far are you willing to travel?

Local Garages to avoid?

Add these questions to the topic to get it started and maybe people might help.
