How do you scrap your old car on the Wirral? Other than driving them into the docks Is there a simple collection service that might even pay me for taking it off my hands instead of me paying them. I cant afford another car atm so scrappage allowance is out. Its a 92 ford orion with no mot or tax by the way. Thanks in advance!!

Phone the scrapyard, they'll pay you for it and pick it up.

Or get Stuy to do it if you don't want the scrap man umming and ahhing for 1/2 an hour. wink

Well its gone, thanks for the offers and advice. I got £40 for it off the scrap yard and took all of about 2 minutes to do.

yer nutter why not weigh it in at mc coys on new chester rd or murphys you would have got at least £100 for it

can't imagine you would, I only got about £50 for a Honda Accord from them a few months ago.

...depends on value of used steel on the day...I got £205 for a mk5 Escort at McCoys about 6 months ago!
