Was posted up on Passionford.com, already their is 2 threads about it lol.

The prep work must of took ages to get the weld the same, and to add it's alloy so it's 10x as hard to weld lol

That is beautiful! It's truly an art form.
Amazing, that's butt welded using a U motion, my mate can do stuff like this, but doesn't see anything special about it.
I'll post some of my welding up. It is truly an amazing thing to behold, I am unbelievably shoddy!
Skill and dedication to get to that standard. That guys like the Messi of welding!

Station - it's much nicer to look at than normal bog standard welding - your mate should see it as special laugh

Matt - something that is sadly lacking in most walks of life these days.

a mate of mine from Wallasey can weld just like that!! I will see if I can find a pic of his work...his job is welding(alloy specialist) and he can do it to a magnificent standard now...and if you need any doin,he is silly cheap as well
Was it metalbox that used to make the lamposts, there were a few alloy welders there that could weld anything, anywhere and make it look neat. I had enough trouble with steel ...

There is no point in posting my welding, it is usually a big hole totally blown through, good news is that I don't go through many angle grinder discs.

I've tried Ally welding in the past and it just blew though, even though the lad had just welded with the set LOL.

I prefer TIG over mig, quite easy once you try it.

From other posts by him he has worked in porting heads, flow testing inlets etc. He then set up his one man band making inlets.
