Overpriced, and not good if you do a lot of miles.

They're 1k upwards. You can never get them cheap!

The full kit, inc a standalone ECU for the S2000 is just under £2000.

They give 20bhp with no other mods - you will get more from head work, cams etc...

Its about the biggest power mod you can do for a fuel injected, N/A engine, the only other thing that will really give you more power is Turbo / super charger which can take the S2ks up to around the 400bhp mark omg

Wheels - Carbs would kinda be a bit of a step backwards from a fuel injection system, especially with a VTEC system. If you went back to carbs, it'd prolly be a good idea to throw some wild cams in there, and de-VTEC the engine, though I doubt that would make as much power as ITBs, or even the std setup frown

Sounds brill. Just like a bike. ITB's rule. Id have a set of bike ITB's if i had the space. Theres a company called Bogg brothers who will custom make a manifold to suit, and i think theyll supply and set up an aftermarket ECU too. Overall itd come to about have the price of say, Alpha Weber Bodies which retail at about £2200, and thats before a proper mapping session.

One thing that annoyed me. When he stopped booting it, why did he just put the clutch in? Firstly, its not clever second, i wanted to hear it on overrun, and then i wanted him to go down through the gears, itd sound as good as him accelerating.
