The guys at PipeWerx in Ormskirk have a project VW passat which they have managed to shove another engine in at the back and reckon it will produce 1000bhp+

What do you think?

Thats an idea and a half...
Loving the way theyve built the engine into the floor, not just bolted and mounted somewhere in the back. That should help with Centre of Gravity thumbsup

Wasnt it DubSport who made the Twin Engined Golfs a few years ago???
Power from them was crazy...

This will be the 3rd twin engined car, they produced.

1,Green MK1 Twin 16v with NOS
2,Blue mk3 Twin Vr6 Turbo

Plus there was an Orange rear engined Vr6 Turbo (pos had NOS too)

Talented isnt the word.

Engine in the front powers the front wheels, engine in the rear does the rears. Only thing that will need to be linked is the gear linkage to make sure both engines / gearboxes are in the same gear smile

Lol wouldnt ye be just a bit worried about 1000bhp in a bog standard chassis?

Id be even more worried for me safety haha! I wonder who, if anyone, would even touch it insurance wise!

Shit good though, any idea what engine is going in the back? 1000bhp might be a bit realistic, but who knows, with a touch of the old NOS etc, it probably break through that barrier heh!

Standard that passat is a 30v, V6 ,198BHP,x 2 = 400bhp,

then I guess there gunna either use RS4 turbos and NOS

Went today and the car is in the body shop at the moment getting re-sprayed so no pictures frown

I'll be going back again in the next 2 weeks so I'm hoping it might be back by then.
