does anyone know of a garage that does free diagnostic checks? my car is being a tool and doing my head in!!!!!!!!

your cars no were near as bad as mine!! mine drinks oil smokes and has shit mpg! dont most garages do free diagnostics?

Name some symtons, if missfiring it could be the coilpack. If revving to around 2k then down to 200rpm then it maybe the maf sensor. Have you had a service recentley?

Also is the engine manegment light on?

alternator light flashing its head off, sluggish between gears. even when standing, the engine and gearstick shake like mad. just being a general tool

On the pick below disconnect the sensor i have marked, don't worry it won't damage the engine. Turn the car on and then test drive it, this is a common problem on Mondeo's (well zetecs in general) also what Year is your Mondeo?

Maybe the reason for tool type things??

you would have to be tool to do any of those things!
