Car is all mapped and ready

Turbo is capable of running 1.8 bar boost, but Ive told them not to run it at the max so as not to load up the engine quite as much. Anyway, the car has been mapped to 1.5bar boost (22.5psi) and its making....

376bhp and 360something ft/lb torque

Pretty happy at that. They said it would easy do over 400bhp if the boost was increased to its max, but its just going to kill tyres and put extra load on the engine.

Picking the car up in the morning as they still want to have a paly with the cold start first thing - as you can appreciate, you only get so much time before it gets warm lol

Good news that mate, Its got some bloody power

I bought the Turbo used (About 2000miles old) and the car it came off had a very similar spec, and that made 370bhp at the same boost.

Very happy with the engine and the way its running, and happy with the map too if its making that power

Just not looking forward to driving in the wet - previously it was spinning the tyres in 4th in the wet (No nancy pansy Traction control here ) - now it has even more power
