New Audi TTS - 28th Jan 2008 7:29pm
Audi has announced their hottest TT ever, the S. Following in the footsteps of other hot Audis including the S3, the TTS is powered by a 2.0ltr FSi lump featuring beefed up internals and larger turbo. The modified unit pumps out 272bhp and is claimed to be good for 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph.
To match the extra grunt, the car features Audi’s Adaptive Magnetic damping system and tasty 18in rims (19s are an option). The new TTS is set apart from the rest by new xenon headlights with daytime LEDs, redesigned front and rear bumpers and sideskirts. The exterior is finished off with quad tailpipes. Inside, special aluminium trim and an Alcantara and leather steering wheel, together with S logos complete the look. The new TT goes on sale late this year and looks set to make the cool coupe even more popular. Wonder if they’ll bring out an even hotter RS version?
