right guys, duno if i've posted this in the right place.

anyway, bonus time is looming above me and i'm thinking of making my very own Euro Styled Car.
Many cars in mind are - polo's, mk3 golfs, lupos, arosa's and maybe even an e30 convertable.

now money is'nt massive for this project (only an idea at the mo) but i would like ure opinions. this probably would'nt be my everyday car once i've finished, maybe just a show off car or similar.

i have ideas of how i want it to look ie- deep dish alloys, lowered 80-100mm, stripped, tinted windows, bucket seats (without harnesses as i dnt reli like them) straigh thru exhaust maybe with manifold and some engine bling.

comments please laugh

tbh i dnt reli wana go with corsa/saxo/106 as they just have a sort of 'chav reputation' about them. dont get me wrong, the pics u have posted r cool, but in my eyes they are chav cars (no offense to any1 who owns the above) lol

never reli thought of a mk2 fiesta as they are similar to the mk1 polo if i rememba correctly?

thanks 4 ure input tho much appreciated thumbsup

lol just noticed it has a roof rack on it... wonder wot they two things are sitting on the rack? hmm
Posted By: Petei123 Re: Opinions : Euro Style Cars - 3rd Dec 2007 8:27pm
all lookin nice, tbh i would prefer the samller cars over the larger 1's. (polo & lupo)

1 thing i reli need 2 know is though, do the arches need rolling to accomodate the over inflated tyres? ive seen sum without over inflated tyres that fit snug on a polo, but would love 2 have flared rear arches 2 add 2 the aggression!!!
Posted By: Davey_Martin Re: Opinions : Euro Style Cars - 3rd Dec 2007 9:35pm
honestly i have not got a clue, could try a lupo/polo owners forum or something, sure there will be a few wink

that lupo is class
Posted By: MrPhil Re: Opinions : Euro Style Cars - 4th Dec 2007 7:18am
all depends on the stretch of the tyres aswell. some stretched tyres have a habit of going flat pretty quick as the seal ain't the best.

MK1 golf gti 16v - no point in looking at anything else imo! orange colour!

Otherwise it's got to be german!

Whilst I can appreciate the work thats gone in to it, I hate the Euro look noonoo

Streched tyres, flared arches, and everything else smoothed - it takes the character away from the car IMO

i've been looking into prices 2 give a full euro look, and including bodywork (flaring arches, smoothing bodywork etc) it can come up2 anywhere near 10k. i'm only looking into doing the basics - slamming it on coilies, 14's, colour coding, tints, sound system, and some engine bling.

i'm already goin 2 look at a lupo at the weekend aswel. tbh its a bit of a shed at £1200 with no locking doors, seats r a mess (cant move forwards or backwads) but these are easy jobs 2 fix, so the project could be starting sooner than i thought!!!!

The sound system i can definately help you with smile

Just buy this months Performace VW, have alook at the canadian fellas Golf Mk1. I think a little bit of sex wee came out!
Posted By: Petei123 Re: Opinions : Euro Style Cars - 4th Dec 2007 1:45pm
ive now basically got 3 different styles in mind either a mk2 golf, a mk4 pole 6n or the 'newer' type of car the lupo (cant post pics as i'm in work) there are examples on pistonheads which aint selling for 2 much, so shouldnt reli cost much 2 do either. the only thing i rekon that would cost the most would be the sound system as i have no electrical knowledge what so ever :S so would have 2 pay for labour!!! and the wheels, been looking at prices and just for the 14" alloys i'm looking at 600-800 without tyres:(
Sourcing a car aint 2 bad reli as i not fussed on the mileage as long as it isnt 2 high as most VWs last for a lifetime if looked after and u can pick up most of the cars now for no more than £1000.

As i mentoined about the sound system, i'll sort you a bundle deal out which would include fitting wink
All depends what you're after, plus i'm not far from you too.
