Legal age to drive 18yrs

I heard on the radio today that the ministers are talking about raising the legal age for driving to 18yrs old.

And some other stuff too.

If i remember them correctly

1. Age of Driving 18yrs
2. 1 year of lessons (didnt hear that properly)
3. No under 21's to give lifts to teenagers after dark?
4. errr somthing else.

Anyone else hear it ?

heard that one and 18 to drive.
Looks like it`s going ahead too.
I dont think its fair about the after dark thing, takes the piss to be honest, messing with peoples freedom.

I cant see the after dark thing working?
How could you police it?

If you say you just drove from London and it got dark?

Yes you can Pomp, dont worry, they are just proposals, not law, and probably wont be law for a long time, if ever.

I cant see how it would be policed and enforced, and it seems very impractical, so the proposals will most probably just be scrapped.

The 18 law might come into force at sometime in the future though.
