is fooked.... spring has snapped when i was doin bout 10mph out of a car park on a flat road.... gettin done tommorrow but gonna cost me near £200 cos as u no, both sides gotta be done.... waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh !
Unlucky fella, the same thing happened to Scott in his Mondeo earlier on this year - mind you the way he drives the cars over speed humps its no surprise.
Gutted for ye!
£200?!
seems quite high to me?
a set of springs aren't that expensive, why not save a bomb and do the work yourself?
there £90 each coz of the car
£90 each?
You got a quote from anywhere else matey?
£60 for the two and fitting costs ontop of that would seem reasonable me thinks?
I know Scott's cost him over £200 for his Mondeo, and the Vectra must at least have somewhat similar pricing??
fair enough, just seems pricey.
anywho, its always good to shop around before splashing out your hard earned cash
did matey, and that was the cheapest, lookers wanted 255 quid !
and i not got the time to do it myself
what for scams?
try borough salvage for the springs then greasby car sales for the fitting, quite cheap and honest to.
got it done firsty thing this mornin, £180 quid, handlin is soooooooo much better, and sharper, and steerin lighter too.. :-)
glad to hear
just a shame it cost so much eh?
yeh i no, could have been worse tho, was originally told that the arm may have snapped, so lucky in that respect...
