This is all well and good, but imho if someone is caught doing a "major" crime, they should be behind bars anyway, not on ASBO's!!
The government clearly have absolutely no idea on how to cut crime and are only going to gain votes from criminals with their stupid, pathetic idea's like this.
I would implement a 3 strike system, with effect from the age of 18. If you are convicted of of more then 3 non-driving crimes of any nature (maybe forgetting certain things like not paying fines and drunkeness etc), then you get life. Everyone know's right from wrong, and this is the only way to get notorious and regular criminals off the streets!
May sound unfair but, 3 warnings is way more then enough, and as I say, everyone knows right from wrong by the age of 18...
Silly ASBO's do nothing but give criminal's a title, which most of whom are proud to have!
