tell her to watch what she says, they may trick her into fessing up what she done,in which case she will end up being done for driving with undue care,or speeding,or something. So theres a massive chance of her getting some points.personally if i was in her shoes i'd be thinking of lies ATM, such as

"i was doing 30 and the car understeered into the post cos there must've been a bit of ice/diesel/oil" or something. If a tyre burst in the crash u cud say u had a blowout and that casued the crash, but thats just me

Glad she is ok.

tbh mate i would edit your first post. you never know who is reading.

in theory do u need to edit ur post? ur on a forum,ur not using ur REAL name, and theres no proof that what ur typing is true. So its not like th po-po could do ur missus cos u typed "she was speeding" into a forum

Lol Scoop, the plod will know what speed she was doing, especially if she attempted to break at any time. Lying to them is very stupid.

Id only recommend getting a solicitor and then seeing what they say. They will be able to obtain more insight into what evidence the police have regarding the incident. Just tell her not to say anything at all regarding it until she has consulted a solicitor.

And ignore any legal advice given on public forums, as few people are in the position to give it lawfully and secondly nobody will have any insight to the case itself.

Good luck, this is unfortunatly another speeding statistic which proves it can affect anyone and eveyone.

Hope your girlfriend is alright too matey!

maybe its an idea to NOT speak to them, when i had my crash and got interviewed, they said "u are not under arrest and free to leave at any time"

i shudda left instead of explaining poorly what i done, which made them put words in my mouth
