I've been looking at a few interior mod ideas recently
and I've got a few in mind that I have planned to do in
the near future. I just wondered on members views on these
and any other ideas which I may consider.

So far, I hope to modify my centre console to fit a TV
screen in. I've seen this done in the same type of bmw
as mine (e36) using a Centurion screen. Any comments on
this make? Are they reliable and easy to use? Is the quality
of them any good?

Other than a possible reverse camera, I would like a
DVD & TV input incorporating freeview. Any ideas of any
hardware which can do both? Baring in mind, I'd like to
keep my current CD player player in so maybe something
that can fit in the glovebox?

Cheers guys

the screens are okay, when i had my punto i had the screen and dvd player kit. All you need with your screen is a ps2 this is easy to fit with the screen all you need is a power inverter £20. As for the screen though all be it they are okay go on ebay and punch in car monitor you can get motorised dash ones for about £50-70 and would be easier to fit. grin

yeah I bought one of them off ebay for £30, but I struggled to get an input on it so I sold it on. I think it may have required a remote, but it wouldnt pick up an channels even with a standard T.V. arial in it. It might nto help that the settings were in NTSC and not PAL, but does a special car arial need to be used to pick up a TV signal in cars?

Generally, how long can you use the power invertor for (say using a PS2) before you have to get a jump start from draining your battery? lol
