Im having abit of work doing to my car now, so i quess this came at the wrong time hehe, i have started an mmc to explain what im going to be doing

MY CARS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN I THINK ANYWAYS BUT HERE ARE SOME BETTER PICS OF HOW IT WAS AND WHAT ITS LIKE NOW.

Big difference there mr tupac, my jaw dropped when you fitted the coil-overs, it's by far the best mod you've done.

im gona have to get some pics up quick!! havnt got any with my white alloys or my new mirrors on!! or my new sub and amp. (im tryin to mention everythin i'v done so people dont think im a lazy sod hahaha)

Unfortunatly, my car is nowhere near ready ATM, and all the pics I have are either with the old bumper and despoilered boot, or have the new front bumper fitted, but with the spats, splitter and spoiler not yet fitted. The car also isnt mechanically ready

Rhys mate, I cant vote for Tony's car because I simply have not see it enough to vote for it.

I can only vote for the cars that I have seen, and I have seen the others on loads of occasions.

Just because my vote hasnt gone to Tony does not mean to say that I would not think he has the best car if I had seen it enough, it just means I cannot agree or disagree with you on it.

I am not going to vote for a car just because some people have the opinion its the best car on the forums, everyone has different opinions.

Also I dont particuarly like the looks of the Mk2 200 series, I prefer the Mk3 personally. But thats just me hehe!

Why are they Jealous though? Id personally rather have your Jag or Lawton's Corsa then a Mk2 Rover of any description, so I cant say that my vote is through Jealousy.

The person I have voted for is a person I think has Cruisewirral Car Of The Year not the last few weeks.

I have seen and red the progress of loads of cars like Tupac's 200SX, Lawtons Corsa, Joes Beemer, your Hotrod etc, throughout the year I have not seen or red much at all about Tony's Rover, and as nice or as good as it may be (I dont know), I fail to see how not voting for his car is through jealousy.

Remember Rhys this isnt a Car Of The Year award for a national magazine, where you just pick from photo's, this is an award for Cruisewirral, where we are able to watch the progress of peoples cars from one day to the next. My vote is based on this, and there were a lot of close contenders because I have seen so many people put so much effort into thier cars over the year, I have not seen Tony's threads about the progress of his car or how much effort he has put in...

My vote has gone to the car i think is the best overall car of those nominated,that means the car i'd most want to call my own, sure others may be worth more and less and go faster and slower and stuff but i just dont like those cars as much as the one ive chosen.And THATS what i think people are doing with their vote aswell.

i can see where everyone is coming from but im not taking sides, its a friendly competition that is based on peoples opinion of each others cars. being 100% honest im not expecting to get any votes coz i havnt been to any meets for months and i havnt posted pics of my newest mods for ages but im just entering because im proud of my car and what ive done to it in less than a year.

In all honest I could enter this competition with my nans wheels chair and still win by miles, at least its been modified with graphics ha ha ha

i dont mind paying for things on my car, upgrading them and paying for repairs, especially learning how to do it all myself cos i do try and do most of the work no matter what it is myself! at the end of the day i think a car is like a woman " it may be expensive, it may be a lot of work, but as long as it puts a smile on my face when im inside it its worth the effort!

Im not going to sing and dance about my car as you can find out all about it in my Modified car topic (click here).
what i want to point out is that my car may not be modified to everyones taste, i know that none of the lads are brave enough (apart from scooby lol)to drive around in my bright PINK playboy jeep. the thing is i have modified my car to my taste and designed everything the way i wanted it to be. I know i havent done a lot of the mods by myself but i have bought all the things and paid the right people to modify my car how i wanted it. just like tony couldnt spray his car himself so he put it into Automotion and paid to get a gorgeous respray, just like most of the members on here cant do everything themselves so they put there cars into garages etc to get the mods done that they cant do for themselves.
From the first day that i got my car in december i had in mind what i wanted to do to it, i set out to it and got very skint along the way but it has all been worth it because 10 months later I love my car and i am made up with the end result.
