this saturday its the new brighton rally, i cant remeber the last time i didnt go, so whos going,
are sean will be there from when it starts but i have work so will be there from 2pm, we always go as far left as possible as thats were the herpin is and there always loads of good action there,

went today and well what can I say it was a really gud turn out and a very gud event to attend like it is evry year. Some very nice cars espeacialy like the escort mk1 and mk2 drifting around the bends.

Thought I'd post SOME of the pics I took yesterday.

I have quite a few videos too, so I'll edit the best ones of them into 1 vid to make it easier to watch

The orange and white hyundai was my fave, for sound and looks, but that jigsaw scooby had to be the best overall, apart from the graphics. The interior was amazing, the guy was downloading stats to his lappy when i was taking pics, i mean check out that centre console, the spoiler and them A pillars.

That M3 beemer seemed shite slow, it had an induction kit on it as you can see, but there was only 2 small air feed hoses going to it, both no more than an inch in diameter.

I also took pics of that rare 'scort maxi for your ford lovers and the fiesta for daz lol

That cobra wasnt on show, it was just some guys car but it looked cool and had flip paint, but you cant see from the pics

Didn't know there was more on today? Wouldn't have gone anyways I guess.

There was a shower or low clouds over liverpool about midday, but it didnt seem to come over here, certainy would have made the day more interesting! The weather wasn't bad, although it was quite windy and cold as expected, but warmed up a bit later on.

Overall, great day out, and I'd recommend everyone to go next year. I hope they'll have the sprints on next year too!

Oh yeah, and that 'jigsaw' scooby used to be Petter (or Peter to me and Lawton ) Solbergs

That kit,altho very nice and fat just doesnt go with itself,the skirts and back end dont match the front at all. I'd still sexwee on it tho

Easy, its a uber rare Escort Maxi, it comes at standard with flaired arches, bumpers skirts and spoilier. It has a 2.0 L4 engine. In all honesty I dont know loads about them since there so rare. This was one of my two favourite cars there

That M3 was slow, but it was really entertaining watching it go sideways! lol! I'm a sucker for the 6R4's myself. I'd love to experience one of those things going full pelt in the dry. It would leave your head on the rear windscreen!
