We still have space available for suitable cars that are not part of an existing club/group/team. Performance car Tuners can also apply to compete, either as part of one of the existing Team entries or as individuals, subject to approval and sufficient space.

Spectator ticket prices are kept at the same price yet again, and are available in advance at just £15 from our website, or alternatively can be purchased on the gate on the day from 9am onwards at £20 per adult. Ticket purchases can be made after 1st March via http://shop.totb.co.uk/products.asp
Our phoneline number is also on the website for credit card ordering. Clubs and groups can also obtain further discount on entry tickets if purchased in bulk, email us for details.

We are pleased to announce that The Organisation Ltd will once again be arranging the Trade display areas on our behalf. Contact details for all trade/advertising and sponsorship enquiries listed below.

Other planned improvements to the event include further raised grandstand seating areas and the return of the Top speed spectator viewing area which was very popular, accessed via a site bus. The top speed trap will also now be set at a standing mile distance, to utilise a recognised distance for this part of the competition.

The event format remains largely the same other than a slight tweak to the points scoring system for the Overall Champion. The Overall Redline TOTB 5 Champion Award will still be based on total points scored from all 3 events (1/4m, handling and Top speed) plus any bonus points gained from the handling or drag shootout finals. We are however instigating a bonus point for competing in all 3 events, plus additional bonus points for anyone who scores overall in all 3 events, which is a fantastic achievement.

The drag and handling shootouts will now only attract a single point bonus for the winner, as opposed to the original 3 points given previously.
The team trophy is also certain to be highly contested this year, being awarded to the club with the best points total combined from each team member.

Crash.net will be supplying a results service to both public and pitlane areas where information can be updated on the event scores and leaderboard.

The Closing date for all competitor entries is 2nd July 2006. There will be a further short period for any last minute team changes or for reserves to take up any places that become available. Please note no refunds will be made after 2nd July. No changes will be made to any team sheets after 14th July 2006 when the entry lists become final.

I know its alittle early but who would be up for this.

And who fancy's entering (not me cos i carnt go fast in my si raftl )

This would be a greatday out and its not a million miles away.
watched the program on this, in m&m few weeks ago. would be really intrested in this, could be worth seeing if we can get some sort of discount on bulk buying.
i watched this last month and me and my bro would be up for it,
think the only person whos car would be quick enough it johns scooby, go on john you no you want to
This looks really good, who knows i may have a power toy by then ??
TOTB was great, but its become a vitim of its own sucess and over the last few years its got really hard to get close to the action frown

May be worth a look again though, Ive not been for 2 years.
I might be up for taking part in it. I've spoken with the event organisers and to get qualified i'd need to slay some Scoobies round Elvington in May and also have a quarter mile time of less than 14s. Don't think that should be too hard laugh

Alternatively i'd need to email them my cars specs to get instant approval frown so i'd go for the slaying the Scoobie method instead.
No offence Ad, but I recon your gonna need 350bhp in the Skyline to get in to the 14's and a great start as your on RWD not 4WD.

Also, dont underestimate the Scoobs that take part, the top runners are all in the 10's and 11's eek
The TOTB are all below 12's and most of them are over 500bhp. not easy by any means, Stuy why dont you enter the 180
Unfortunatly there are plenty of 200's running good power that will really put it to shame frown

Maybe in a few years when ive got the spec up a bit smile
It's the taking part that counts and not the winning for me. I was going to enter through the company and not as a private individual.

The Skylines got over 350bhp when used with the NOS but I was going to enter the Prelude instead, mainly due to its reliability, no turbo lag and handling.

I'm not sure if I can enter anyway after the argument I had with the organisers last Saturday at Elvington over sound levels.
Cant you just increase the baffel or ad a muffler onto your system to bring it down.

There is ways and means of doing these things.

Ad have you done a 1/4 mile before in the prelude, if so what times did you get. i know the prelude is over 200bhp with the NoS. Personally I think its a great idea to enger as a company to get the publicilty but you have to be carefully you dont fall flat on your face as that will chase business away. Could you not just have some sort of stand and cover the car in apperal like all the evo's and skylines do.
No I don't know what the 1/4 mile in the Prelude is, I know it's below 14s (taken from a GTEC meter so fairly accurate) but don't know exactly.

I've had quite a lot of work done on the Lude since the Peco rolling road day and it's kicking out nearly 320bhp with the NOS. Ok it's no Ten Of The Best winner as i'd really need 4wd and over 800bhp but i've got a couple of mates who have car tuning companies in this area who did this last year. One has a 375bhp Ford Orion and his 1/4 is only slightly less than 14s. My business only comes from Ebay and the website these days anyway so it won't affect trade but may get some business contacts from the event.
If you feel confident then go for it. didnt know you had work done to the lude since then.
Yet another Quality event for the summer

So, Who's going ?
i just want to see martin hadlands new escort in the flesh happy

July Event Bump smile
I will be going who is up for a convoy.
My mate is goin in his class winner from last year(fwd fiesta with 450BHP)but as stuy said it is so popular now that you cant get close to the action. As for entering any cars from cruise wirral I do not want sound offensive but if you have got less than genuine 500bhp for fwd class forget it! And the 4x4 and rear wheel drive boys are all running between 700bhp and 1300bhp!...Needless to say I wont be entering...
is ure mate paul with the black zetec turbo? iirc didn't it catch fire?
Yeh its Paul, the fuel line caught fire at one stage..never good.He is hoping to better his 179mph and 11.9s quarter
i will be up for going along to this never been to one so if theres a convoy i will be there
his fiesta was in maxpower years ago, glad he got rid of the gold
am well up for it what about leavin time of 5.30 so we can get there early
iam up for this, asked for it off at work, so as long as i get it off, ill be there, me brother should be coming along aswell,

what is the deal with kids? do they have to pay?
think under 16's don't need to.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR what i idiot i am. I have forgot to book the day off and i am working (will see if i can get it sorted) Gutted because there is a chance i could go with chris bmw m3 and paul so i could get in the paddock.
right, one week to go, whos still going, work have just told me that i have got it off, so iam defo going, who else?
Still trying to get it off myself.

I am going to Wakefield on sat so i could stay over as York isnt that far away from there.
IF ANYBODY IS GOING TO THIS THE MOTORWAY M62 BETWEEN JUNCTION 20 AND 21 WILL BE CLOSED UNTILL 9AM YOU HAVE TO COME OFF THE MOTORWAY AND FOLLOW THE DIVERSION TOOK ME A HOUR TO GET THROUGH IT COMMING HOME FROM WAKEFILED AT 9PM TONIGHT. GOING THERE IN THE MORNING SHOULDNT BE AS BAD AS I GUESS YOU WILL BE LEAVING EARLY BUT DO ALLOW ALITTLE EXTRA TIME IN THE MORNING.

Hope you have agood day and take your camara i have tried all week to get off work but with no luck.
