Below is part of an e-mail i recieved from the organisers following my recent enquiry.

The Xmas cruise is on the 20th of December (Saturday) at Donington Park race track which is between Leicester and Notts. It costs £5 per car to get in and the gates are opening extra early this time because the last one just wasn’t long enough.

Convoys are starting to arrive as early as half four with the action kicking
off around six. I’m going to start parking people in the main exhibition
hall again so you won’t all have to stand around outside in the freezing
cold getting wet if it rains.

Some of the events we have planned include,

¼ Mile Drag Racing (Improved from last time with big displays, etc to read
times out for onlookers)
SPL Sound Offs
Show and Shine
Burnout and donut area (which last time was used mostly for drifting!)
Miss Sexy Santa Competition (bit warmer than wet t-shirt for the winter!)
Pit Stop Challenge (Which is a team event where we can pit cruise groups and
mates head to head in races for the fastest pit stop time)

Plus lots more. There are also some smaller side events which I’m still
working on confirming that include things like a mobile rolling road, etc.

The whole cruise will be brightly lit and is all as close together as
possible so you don’t need to miss out (but does mean venturing outside the
hall!). Like with last time we’ve a lot of magazines interested in coming
along which also means we’ll be giving away prizes and goodie bags
throughout the night.

Right peeps, anyone who is attending the Donny Race Track on the 20/12/03, who is also joining the convoy from the Rock whom wishes to have some fresh new photo’s taken for the gallery and profile section, in the daylight, must be half an hour early. That’s at 2.30pm

Thus giving Scooby and myself time to get through the necessary requests before we must leave.

We are also meeting up with others at Chester Services and Lymm services to make a huge convoy down there with the BBC in toe...........

Yeah after the first 3 runs the clutch will be well fried i reckon.you may even have to replace the gearbox while yer there as well scoob.should be alright though as long as i leave it to cool down between runs.not sure about the engine though....how much are these again?

From Birkenhead
Drive past Camel Lairds (A41) and take your third exit at the roundabout towards Rock ferry.
Continue past the first main Traffic Lights at Bedford road and we are approx 100 yards on the right.
From Brombrough
Follow A41 Towards Birkenhead, Bare left at Port Sunlight roundabout and drive through New Ferry.
Eventually you will pass a Crossville Bus Depot (On the Right) and then a set of Traffic Lights at the
Abbotsford pub, Continue straight on and we are about 100 yards on the Left.
