Prof. Steve Harding will begiving another of his Viking talks next month at Wallasey Central Library . It is to coincide with the arrival in Wirral of the largest ever reconstructed Viking longboat, the Draken Harald Harfagre. Prof. Harding is a leading expert in this area, and counts the King of Norway among his acquaintances.
His talks are always popular and usually sell out, so booking is essential. Tickets are available from the library and include a glass of wine.

Time: 6pm
Date: Wednesday 2nd July
Tickets: £5 or £4* Friends members. [inc. glass of wine]

I am so looking forward to seeing that ship on the Mersey, being rowed into the West Float! Not sure I can make that talk, though, which is a shame. Should be good.

Prof. Stephen Harding returns on Friday 10th October for a follow-up talk about the viking longship that recently visited Wirral.
He will be giving a talk entitled "Viking Wirral & The Saga Of The Draken Harald Harfagre Longship".
