Is it best not to mention the whole Varg Vikernes murder/racism/church-burning stuff?
Still, at least Tora Berger is doing alright.

DaryaD,
We were trying to civilize Britain with a bit of tough love but for some reason the idea of eating raw fish upset you locals!!!https://www.wikiwirral.co.uk/forums/images/icons/default_dark/laugh.gif

Just to remind everyone that this event is this Saturday. We will be having freshly made waffles, craft table, language lessons and workshops for making woven paper heart baskets. All ages catered for. Many of us will be in Norwegian costume and should be a good laugh.
Went along and thoroughly enjoyed it. Made two paper heart baskets (one went wrong but I put it right at home!) Had a delicious waffle and a slither of Gjetost (I think that's how you spell it - dangerously tasty goat's cheese anyway) and admired the crafts on display, music, and the beautiful traditional costumes. Thanks to all involved!
