Myself and my friend have recently took over Tallula's Late Lounge, we are hoping to relaunch our new club "My Kingdom" in March 2012.. But in the meantime, we are operating as "The Lounge" with Karaoke starting tonight @ 8pm with FREE ENTRY and free Jagerbombs for every singer smile (12/01/2012), Disco from the 60's 70's, 80's and 90's on Friday Nights, and all your club classics Saturday nights..

On a previous topic, people have asked if it is a gaybar. The answer to this question is, NO. In it's previous life, it did have a reputation of being that, but anybody and everybody are welcome smile

Is this the club above the arcades on the front that overlooks the Mersey?

That sentence doesn't exactly make the place sound welcoming to people does it?

I just explained that the place is not a gaybar but we welcome anyone!! I've managed the bar for 2 years and people were put off thinking it was a gay scene, I was simply letting people know that it isn't but everyone is welcome

I think it was the capital NO that made me stop in my tracks, Gay bars are amongst the friendliest places to drink!! Anyway best of luck with the venture, always good to have somewhere selling Jagerbombs! Do you sell any real ale?

i just think the NO was to emphasise that the place is not to be stereotyped,

i feel a bootneck silly rig run ashore is in order HA HA!
