Douglas Halliday age 20 from Rock Ferry, Alex Isaac age 20 from Eastham
Martyn (Bobby) Horton from Runcorn, Dave Ramsden from Leeds 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment & Steven Boote Royal Military Police from Prenton whose life was taken on 3rd Nov 2009

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the following Armed Forces charities

On Sunday 17th July 2011 we will be holding a live music festival from 12:00 – 20:00 at:
Old Anselmians Rugby Club
Malone Field, Eastham Village Road
Eastham, Wirral, Merseyside CH62 0BL


£2.00 each for adults children under 14 are free


The event will feature a 45ft outdoor stage that will showcase some of Merseyside’s top bands and performers playing live

BBQ and bar open all day, please feel free to bring you own picnic
Our only ask is no glass bottles or alcohol

Diisplays from Royal British Legion Bikers, The Mercian Regiment

There will also be bouncy castles, face painting, donkeys rides, charity stalls and much much more!

We really want this day to raise money, support and awareness for what our Armed Forces do for us and to unite the local community.
We understand that people have their own political views on war and we are not trying to condone any actions, but these men and women strive in their everyday tasks so that you and I and many people across the world can live in Freedom. They give their today’s for your tomorrow!

Well spotted Thank you,You know have not seen any flyers or posters,maybe its a little early, Ill round the kids up and mosey on over there, However I went to Alex Isaac`s service it really does bring it home,There doing a cracking job out there, Am behind them all the way .... just dont get in front of them`or youll be in trouble!

Excellent, i will be going to that one. as a "vet" i can say how hard it is out there and i am just gratefull i am home and i never have to go back. I would not want my lad joining up in this day and age.

sorry for the delay Waddi but im only the messenger lol this is list Helen Fisher has forwarded to me

ragamuffin, richie campbell , paul leay, the essence, redemption, geoff g, sugashed, firefly, savage outlaw, bad wolf, fallen heroes - will each have approx 30 min sets, lots more local performers will be given the oppertunity to perform throughout the day

Hoping someone there takes your fancy

Don't forget everyone it's for a flipping good cause so come along and bring your families and friends and their families and friends

FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN.T KNOW EASTHAM VILLAGE ROAD AS YOU GO ALONG THE A41 TOWARDS CHESTER COMING FROM BIRKENHEAD AND YOU PASS THE LEFT TURNING FOR CARLETT PARK CONTINUE TO NEXT SET OF LIGHTS AND GO LEFT AND ST ANSELMIANS IS ON YOUR RIGHT OPPOSITE SHOPS TOP OF ST. JOHNS ROAD/ COMING FROM CHESTER AS YOU COME TO THE FIRST SET OF LIGHTS BY THE HYUNDAI CAR SHOWROOM TURN RIGHT AND FOLLOW ROAD AROUND PASS THE CHURCH KEEPING LEFT AND ST ANSELMIANS COMES UP ON THE LEFT. Hi All
Iv'e just returned from the Eastham rocks and respect function and even in the rain everyone s having fun kids on bouncy castles and trampolines and even getting their faces painted, the bands are playing to a crowd standing in front of the open sided trailer,the bar IS heaving lol, hot dogs and burgers smelt gorgeous but I was good I didnt have any. All sorts of small stalls there and they are all there to support. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the following Armed Forces charities
