Not the Wirral but may be of interest !.

2nd & 3rd of October.

Small informal gathering of traction engines at the leigh Arms pub next to the Acton swing bridge. Full size traction engines and models, and there may be a steam tug on the river Weaver.

Cost's nothing apart from the petrol to get there, unless you go into the pub !!!.

Steam Party 2010

This year's annual steam party will be on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd October. It is always a great weekend with a selection of various steam engines, vintage vehicles and also a gathering of traditional narrowboats, barges and steam powered craft moored on the River Weaver.

If you or your organisation would like to bring your engine/boat, it is free for anyone to attend. Call the Leigh Arms for more information now!

yerrr I might go tomorrow

By Road:

The Leigh is situated on the A 49 Warrington to Whitchurch road in the village of Little Leigh, near Northwich,Cheshire. The nearest Motorway is Junction ten of the M56, about ten minutes away. The nearest shops are in Weaverham & Barnton.
