The Age of Stupid - free screening tonight! - 5th Jun 2010 9:53am
7pm - 8.30pm, Birkenhead Park.
Enjoy a free screening of the acclaimed film, The Age of Stupid, featuring Oscar-nominated actor, Peter Postlethwaite.
The film will be shown inside a giant flower marquee near the Park visitor centre. The temporary cinema will be powered by eight bike generators, so if you're feeling energetic why not help keep the film running by cycling. If not, then you are free to take a back seat and enjoy the film with a free bag of popcorn.
A free BBQ will also be running before the film from 6pm - 7pm. Places are limited to 150, so to book a place either phone Paul Kelly on 07793721221 or turn up early!
If cycling is you're thing, why not join us early in the park for a cycle-powered day of rickshaw rides, swan pedalos on the lake and a "how to build a bike generator lecture" 2pm - 3pm.
