ART FOR PLACES
Four artists have been engaging with the public to produce a body of work that will be presented over 6 days. See here to read more about the artists.

to view and/or add to Jemma Egan's project.
‘Our Turf’ as it’s known, will be happening in 5 Housing Market Renewal areas of Wirral over 6 days and will involve guided walks, BBQ, cycle powered cinemas and much more.

EVENTS ARE FREE but some need BOOKING - SEE BELOW TO BOOK!
Monday - Friday each day:
3pm - An afternoon of themed walks around said area including historical walks, Wirralpedia Walks and Foraging walks (booking required please see below)
8-9pm Wirral Mobile Allotment Project + BBQ
9-10pm Magnificent Revolution Cycle Cinema will present 'Mapping Memories' a film by Barbara Lamb, 'Chatham Road' animation by Claire Weetman and a historic film local to each area by Vesbim Productions.
These will be held at:
Monday May 31st - Thompson Street, off Church Road, Tranmere
Tuesday 1st June - by St John's Church, Central Park, Seacombe
Wednesday 2nd June - Ilchester Square, North Birkenhead
Thursday 3rd June - St Pauls Road, Rock Ferry (may be changed nearer day but signage will be up)
Friday 4th June - Craven Street, Birkenhead
And
The Grand Finale is Saturday 5th June in a marquee at Birkenhead Park.
This will involve
12pm - 'exhibition launch' in Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre Gallery
1-6pm - Rickshaw rides and Swan Pedaloes on the lake
2-2.30pm - Health Walk
2-3pm - Nature Walk
2- 3pm - Nordic Walk
2-3pm - Foraging in the Park
2-3.30pm - Historical Birkenhead Park walk
2-3pm - Magnificent Revolution - How to build a cycle generator, free performance lecture in the marquee
3.30-4.30pm
and
5-6pm - Workshops for Young People aged 9+ 'How to Build a Cycle Generator' (Places limited to 15 each workshop - see below to book)
6-7pm Free BBQ and Smoothie Bike (BBQ free but only to ticket holders for cinema screening- see below)
7-8.30pm - Magnificent Revolution Cycle Cinema Evening
'The Age of Stupid' Director Franny Armstrong, starring Oscar Wiiner Pete Postlewaite.
The film is rated 12 and contains some bad language.
Places are limited to 150 - see below to book FREE places.
