The Butterfly Park has an artist in residence.
Carol Ramsay has been working alongside the Butterfly Park team and will be curating a temporary sculpture trail by local artists using recycled materials on the site of the local nature reserve during the summer.

Hi, you mean to turn up at this one, well i should really should't i . Well there's no doing extra at work this weekend and i hope to be rid of a bad cold by sunday so put my name down.

Hope this helps folks. If you're getting the train then get off at Bebington Station and leave via the car park....you're there! Any bus along the Old Chester Road goes past the station.

that aldi does'nt have the car park restrictions that the other aldi's do so should be ok, or there is the station car park, or greendale road in port sunlight by beb bridge.

The weather was nice, didn't rain much. The woodland was scenic and peacefull. The BBQ smelled wonderful. Good friends and good company. Not a single bloody butterfly!!!!!!!

A couple more. Not the most interesting walk we've been on but I enjoyed myself.

We got home and the 1st thing we saw fluttering in the front-yup!! A bloody butterfly.

We spent quite a while there and found it quite good, spent quite a time looking at the stuff from the pond including a reasonable size newt before going onto the Lever Art Gallery. I hope next year they have drinks stall, but the hotdogs were nice.

I know I drink a lot and I don't remember some things but I knew I hadn't posted on this thread half an hour ago, I was doing the dishes half an hour ago.

First time I've been back on since then: Thankyou all for coming, we had over 400 visitors, the most the park has ever had at one time.
I was shattered but it was worth it, and for the record I saw 3 butterflies that day LOL

Come back on a sunny sunday and I guarantee you'll see lots, there were about 20 out the day before (typically) and as the summer goes on inevitably there'll be lots more.

You should have all made yourselves known, i wondered who turned up and who was who?
