Wirral Archives Service runs a series of free monthly Saturday morning workshops on a variety of family and local history topics, illustrated by original documents. These workshops are held within the Lower Ground Floor Conference Room at the Cheshire Lines Building, from 10-12pm.

Upcoming workshops are:

* 3 April 2010 - Changing Wirral (18th and 19th century)
* 1 May 2010 - Modern Wirral (20th century)
* 5 June 2010 - Schools and Education
* 3 July 2010 - Poor Law and Hospitals
* 7 August 2010 - Churchyards and Cemeteries
* 4 September 2010 - An Introduction to Family History
* 2 October 2010 - Birkenhead Park
* 6 November 2010 - Cammell Laird Shipbuilders
* 4 December 2010 - Local Newspapers of the Wirral
