Wirral herpatological society. 11- 4pm at the scout hut, 6 liscard road, wallasey.

Me and the kids coming! Anything for a good cause! Is there an entry fee?? Couldn't find it on the link! Is it the hut across from the tesco express?

its the 8th wallasey(pioneer)scout group hut, if that helps!

one of my neighbours is running it- ill go and ask him. brb.

yup, its the scout hut next to the sandbank pub, opposite tesco express. its a £1 for adults and 60p for kids to get in.

My company has donated a Viv as a raffle prize.

Will be a good day and the kids will love it.
Lots of animals to hold and interact with.

Looking forward to it, obviously not as much as the kids, my son goes to beavers there, duh I should of known where it is lol!! Don't suppose you know if beavers is back on yet to?? Lol

Guessing they mean a Vivarium (like a fish tank but a lot less water on the inside, unlike my old Viva, which had a LOT of water on the inside).

I make Vivariums for a living - they are to keep reptiles in and other exotic pets ( pygmy hedgehogs e.t.c. )

They are made from wooden board ( like kitchen and bedroom units ) and have sliding glass doors on the front - not really very good as fish tanks, lol.

Wirral Herp Society does a lot of work and fund raising for Clair House so I was happy to help when they asked.

I might well pop along to this, hink am in the area anyway visiting my sister, I miss my bearded dragons

That big Burm was a beauty wasn't she? Still got up to 10ft to grow yet aswell, lol

Was a great afternoon and everyone seemed to love it. Great turn out too.

Looking forward to the next one already.

OH, and if anyone is interested, the next monthly meeting for Wirral Herp Society is this coming Thursday at 7.45pm (approx.)at the same Scout Hut in Wallasey ( opposite the new Tesco's ).
Would be great to see some new faces.
