The Leasowe Castle usually have a family night, though it is a bit pricey!

Happy birthday. It's my youngest son's 40th. on New year's Day. A couple of his friends are flying in from Germany on New Year's Eve; I'm picking them up at Manchester airport. He doesn't know they're coming. clap

I have no idea what I am doing for new years eve yet....
Posted By: KevinFinity Re: Happy New Year - 22nd Dec 2009 5:20pm
I was just going to have another mundane night in my local but I was last night offered a 3 figure sum to do lighting for a house night in Manchester so mmmmmmmmm its a hard choice.
Posted By: kimpri Re: Happy New Year - 22nd Dec 2009 5:45pm
Go for the 3 figure sum wink smile
Posted By: KevinFinity Re: Happy New Year - 22nd Dec 2009 6:50pm
Ha ha its not really a hard choice. Bored out my skull in hoylake or in a club with banging tunes and glamorous dancing girls and getting paid for it. think think Manchester here I come!!. yipee
Posted By: MattLFC Re: Happy New Year - 22nd Dec 2009 7:45pm
My original plan was to go to my uncles bar, but he will be back on the rigs from the 30th, so that plan has gone out the window!!

So... I don't know what im doing on New Years eve... and I suspect it will be the same situation during new years eve!!

grin

I'm going the Cali =]
Posted By: BandyCoot Re: Happy New Year - 28th Dec 2009 1:55pm
Happy birthday Wench, and take no notice 40 is not old, it's only half way.
I'm going round to my old boy's and the rest of the family has decided to come up from down south so it's nearly a full house, one of the kids has already organised the night away. It's only once in a blue moon that the whole fambly gets together and it's obviously not a blue moon this year again. It will still be good though. Happy New Year Everybody.

I'm goin the local where I be may partake in a few drinks... (saves paying Dick Turpin the high price of a taxi fare).

Where is the 'cali' ?
Posted By: starbuck75 Re: Happy New Year - 31st Dec 2009 7:59pm
The Cali is now called 'Revolver' and is outside Cammell Laird by PC World.

I heard the big house in Moreton is charging £10 on the door and everyone gets a glass of champers. Incase anyone fancies that..

Posted By: MattLFC Re: Happy New Year - 31st Dec 2009 8:03pm
Lol, doubt many 15 - 20 year olds will be interested in champers!!

the old castle or old hotel California
Posted By: RUDEBOX Re: Happy New Year - 31st Dec 2009 9:15pm
Al stick with ''grantsville''. There is alcohol, platters, music, karaoke and an undertone of 'snarling amongst the siblings'!
'' give me the mike. I'm next!!''

I am bored silly, it feels just like any other night to me, i've bypassed this whole festive shiz without an inkling of excitement. I've just been told i have to go out into the street with the folks to see in 2010, i'm going armed with alcohol and thermals!
