The other half went with our son to the Star Wars thing a few years ago - he said the most breathtaking part was the entry fee!!

I didn't think much of that Star Wars thing either.... But others thought it was great.

The Dr Who one was very good.. (you have to catch the events with special attractions)

I've done the Alien Wars in Glasgow few years back... If it's anything as good it'll be worth it.

I didn't even know what it was - I've seen the 'spaceport' sign posts, but had no idea what it was. Nicely advertised/promoted as usual.

Just got back from Spaceport.
Took some snaps of the Marines before the mayhem started.
Met the guy who Started the original Alien Wars in Glasgow.
Great show, now I know how Sigourney Weaver felt running away from those beasties..
All in all a good night, free drinks and food.

i've dug up some more info on the new nightmare on elm street movie. it is a remake of the first film and is scheduled to be released to cinema's April 16, 2010. it's directed by Samuel Bayer. Jackie Earle Harley play's the role of freddy and Rooney Mara as Nancy Thompson.

those film got really stupid the further on they got.

same thing it's creator Wes Craven said when New Line Cinema got there hands on it.

i bought the box set a while back because it was on offer and i only got up to about film four or five could not bear to watch the rest,what was the weird one where the kid was a wizard or something...pathetic
