The Secret Gardens of Oxton (Sunday 10th May 2009)
[/color]
Tickets are now on sale for Secret Gardens 2009. 30 gardens, more than ever before, will be open this year, along with an exciting range of artistic, musical, cultural and fun activities.

Last year an unprecedented number of visitors (around 5000) visited the Village and around 4100 tickets were purchased to view the gardens. As a result, local charities benifitted by just under £24000. The charities to be supported this year are Birkenhead Woodcraft Folk, Shaftesbury Youth Club and Wirral Ark.

Tickets for Secret Gardens 2009 are on sale in Oxton Village at The Drawing Room (50 Christchurch Road), the Quandary Dress Agency (21 Rose Mount) and Oxton Village Books (44 Christchurch Road). They can also be purchased by post before 2nd May: send a cheque made out to The Oxton Society to Ticket Sales, 20 Rose Mount, Oxton, Prenton CH43 5SG.

Ticket prices: £5 in advance, £6 on the day. Accompanied children under 18 free.

Rude - when you get your ticket you'll get a map with all the gardens marked on it.

Its a nice day out especially if you are a keen gardener or just like wandering round other people's.
