Are there fireworks on the Mersey on New Years Eve?
I know there's a big display to mark the end of Liverpool 08 on 10th but wondered if anything happened on the waterfront NYE.

The sticks holding it are like tree trunks and I struggled to fit them in the car they're that big.

Them ones will be the ones that go off at 12

Also bought loads of smaller ones, although the "ultimate attack" ones are crap.

And as for my hands, the rockets come with a free pair of gloves and advises you stand at least 25 metres away after lighting (that's good - the garden is only about 15 metres long!)

All the other suggest standing back at least 10 metres.
