Well the cranes are down and being cut up as i write this by the guys at TDS!
Dont know why they blew these cranes as they have demolished bigger in Scotland ( Glasgow ) and Belfast ( Harland and Wolfe, Titanic fame! )
Was talking to my mate there this morning before the "big bang" and he says that the next job in Birkenhead dock is going to be HMS Glasgow in the near future.Havent got a definate date yet! She was decommisioned in 2005.

No, will be cut up by "shears" that are on the end of the machines!
She has already been "blown up" thats why she was de-commisioned!
