Don't forget, folks, this is next Saturday. Would be good to have a decent turnout from wikiwirral & maybe attract some new members.

Cheers, Chris.

we need a list of whos going and a meeting place
Posted By: chriskay Re: Wirral history and heritage fair - 4th Mar 2008 9:43am
I'll be there. Weather forecast isn't good so better not plan a meet outside. I'm coming by train; think there's a cafe just up from the station, but I don't know if it's open on a Saturday. Can anyone check? Oh, & remember parking is expensive in Hamilton Square.

Cheers, Chris.

chris do you want to park here again ?
Posted By: Mark Re: Wirral history and heritage fair - 4th Mar 2008 12:23pm
Not sure if its open chris,
why not meet in Hamilton Train Station under the cover
of the entrance?

At an agreed time, i think chris that would be your call as
we don't what train your on lol
Posted By: chriskay Re: Wirral history and heritage fair - 4th Mar 2008 12:44pm
Thanks for the offer, Jonno, but I'll probably come by train all the way. I'll look at train times & suggest a meeting time at Hamilton Square station later today.

Cheers, Chris.
Posted By: chriskay Re: Wirral history and heritage fair - 4th Mar 2008 2:18pm
The train I'm planning to take will get me to the station about 10.50am.

Cheers, Chris.

It was a really good day as far as wirral history is concerned,
making lots of contacts, and a possible private tour of the
pump house at woodside (To be arranged, will post more.. ).

It was as me and chris expected average age 150.
But some interesting stuff to be found. (Wirral Horn)
will make a post.

It was worth a peep smile
Lots of pictures to share when i get a mo..

Glad you made it chris. smile
