Egg Run 2007
Is to be on the 1st April.

I got it from the Globe so i doubt its a wind up.

And it looks like the police and organisers are
close to an agreement so all the proceeds go to charity.

If your not sure what the Egg Run is?
Thousands of Motorbikes drive a given route
to Arrowpark Childrens Hospital and give
presents to the children for easter.

It is all for a good cause and starts
at New Brighton Front, i'm sure members
who have been previously can add more.

Its deffo genuine and happens at Easter every year.

Normally starts at New Birghton and winds round the Wirral, and finishes up at Arrowe Park

aww, if anyone does it, can i giv u an egg. my uncle normally does it but i dont think hes doin it this year. xxkatexx

5,000 Bikers have joined the Egg Run.

Looks like they want you to pay a min donation of £1
then you will get a sticker to say you can join in.

Starts at 11am

I'm going to go and watch the start of it.

I might pop down to Hoylake an watch it convoy through if its a nice day.

Excellent Whelan looks like a great day, great weather, and hopefully a lot of happy kids.

Wonder if it was bigger or smaller than years of past?

Looking at the video, its doesnt seem as though anythign special or worth watching happened anyway... so I am glad I missed it. Correct me if I am wrong, but when its a nice day, most of them bikes would have been down the tap regardless of whether it was the eggrun or not...

The good stuff would have been on the official Route.
But its a good flavour of what was probably out there.

I was on the bridge along Pasture road, and personally, the view and the experience was amazing.

Enjoyed it a lot, definately worth watching again. I felt I was a part of it giving all the bikers high fives lol

As for how many bikes there were, they reckon around 10,000 turned up. Not sure how many turned up the year before, probably a couple of thousand less.

The end is near clatterbridge, and aparantly, it really opens out as they go along Telegraph road.

had to think for a while where you were standing,
but i got it, good spot

What a sight for sore eyes it looks and i bet it felt amazing.

I managed to get there right at the start, was really impressive and took about an hour for all the bikes to leave! Some impressive machinery (2.0L streetfighter trike)

All for a good cause, and great to drool over the bikes.

i watched it on hoylake rd an it was good a think there was moor bike then last year. there was some good bikes there was even a push bike with an engin doin the run lol.

was gonna go but went for a meal on saturday night and was still too bloated to move on sunday til bout 1 pm lol

Which one. Might be a bit cheeky of em cos two weeks ago one of they were slagging it off saying it raises less money then other similar events around the country have less bikers take part and raise a lot more money.
