Excellent Day happy

What a great day again, Big thanks to everyone that
turned up, and a special thanks to Peco and Dave.
Thanks to the helpers that kept the day running smoothly,
Dazza, Stuymac, cheers guys, and BeamerRacer for the extra pics and video's.

Gutted for Red20 and his nightmare day, poor shaun,
Turbo problems, and a few stipped threads made it a
bridge just a little too far to get the car built back up.

Quote
10 Kris06 99.22 @Wheel

This is the only car that i know the power figure of, is this figure at teh roadwheels or the flywheel?? Cos 100 brake at the roadwheels is god damn immense for a 1.6 escort, either it was god damn cold today or the rolling road has lost all accuracy.I'd love to see what my car wudda got on it today if kris can get a figure like that. Loving the pics. LOVING the E39 (ive decided im getting a loan for one next year)

EDIT: just checked the league table and the lower figure is stated as flywheel and higher as roadwheel, thats backwards webman.
Posted By: krisGTi Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 18th Nov 2006 9:15pm
thats at the flywheel scoop it was 79.3 at the road wheels an torque was 88.5 .was a grate day an am made up with my results espesilly cos a got 9bhp moor then standered thumbsup

Had a great time today.

Didnt finish work till 2pm so got there late.

Happy with the figure my car put out was expecting around 170bhp but almost 190 will do.

Gutted for shaun hope you sort the car out matey.

Wrong. The higher number is the bhp @ Flywheel.

I'll give my review 2mrw
Posted By: scoop Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 18th Nov 2006 10:52pm
thats what im sayin dazza, the table says 79.3 odd bhp@fylwheel and 99.22 at the wheels for kriss car and the same for all other cars wheras its meant to say 79.3 at the road and 99 at the fly

Excellent day and thanks to those that came

I think most people were pleased with there results. Tupac got a nice unexplected figure as did BeemerRacer and Kris06. Was an interesting day, hence why I am always there from start to finish no matter the weather.

Big thanks to Dave @ Peco

Gutted I didn't get back from Awesome GTi in time to see you guys. I had to drop the mrs at the hairdressers, and I wasn't running the risk of her missing THAT! I'd never live it down! lol!

My S3 put out 265 bhp @ the fly on Awesome's rollers. I'll set our new scanner up and see if I can get a copy of the graph up for y'all.

Hope to see everybody soon,

Rich

ooh good stuff. Was that the power figure you wanted?
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 20th Nov 2006 10:36pm
Fantastic day, glad it finally went ahead.

I'm well impressed with the results from mine smile I was only expecting about 90bhp

gunna see if i can improve on that figure by as much as possible for next time.

Cheers to Dave and Webby, and gutted for Sean not getting his sorted in time
Posted By: StuyMac Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 21st Nov 2006 10:58am
Good day, and very happy with the results smile

25bhp over std, not bad for a 10 year old diesel with 120k on the clock and only £250 of mods laugh
Posted By: Rich Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 21st Nov 2006 3:34pm
I was hoping for between 260 and 270 bhp, so I got what I went for! lol! Trying to weigh up the future mods now. 3" downpipe, race cat and a stage 2 map or hang on a bit longer and go for a full on Big Turbo conversion?

Webby, do you have an electronic copy of the power graphs from this RR?
Posted By: Mark Re: Review : Peco Rolling Road (5) - 23rd Nov 2006 4:26pm
I dont have at the moment,
as Dave had to get off sharpish to pick his daughter up.

As it can take a good 30mins to find and copy over
the graphs.

Also with there pc, it can only be saved to a floppy
drive and the last RR when i got home xp say's
"Do you want to format this disc?"

As in XP dont like floppy disks no more.

Ive asked dave if i can pop in one day and see if it
will work, as in saving them on and off the disk.

Would make the Review nice and complete with them smile
