I'm after a small piece of half inch plywood (or sim., 60cmx90cm would do it) - I could pick this up on E-Bay, but thought I would check locally first.

Are you on about the type of wood you find on back of wardrobes, the thin stuff

I need to screw some fittings into it - so about a half inch (10mm or so) thickness. But otherwise scrap wood would do, for a temporary job.

60cm x 90cm or somewhere around 2' by 3' would give me a few inches leeway.

I think i have some in shed, i will check in the morning, after i get the tape measure on it.
