Get the free microsoft security essentials and get that rubbish off your computer.

Most of the free ones are just as good as the paid and they dont come with tonnes of bundled crap.

kaspersky works perfectly well for me!

a trick about kaspersky: buy a NEW 2011 one (explanation will follow) off the internet for less than £10

but don't install it

go onto the kaspersky website and use the unused code to download the new 2012 antivirus (12-months worth) for free as the 2011 code hasn't been used so it lets you get the latest one with the old code.

perfectly legitimate, 100% legal, you're getting the latest version of kaspersky for less than a tenner.

sorted.

You don't want Norton. Get MSE like Dean suggested and your machine will run about ten times faster as an added bonus of Norton not sitting there being useless.

And stop using AVG. This isn't the late 90's, AVG has sucked for like the last decade.
