if you go to poundland Willo you can get the lead and a usb charger for the car and if I remember rightly you can get a complete set up from wilkos giving you home and car charger with different connectors for about £6:00

Thanks but I am after a genuine TomTom charger.
I have had no look in the past with cheapo ones.

I think I have an alcatel phone charger which is the same connection. That's what I use to charge mine. I'll have a dig around if you want.

It's the same type of connection but not a high enough amperage, especially if the battery is flat.

Standard V3 charger (mini USB) will do it but you need the C500 if you've allowed the battery to get too low as the V3 won't overcome the initial resistance.
