tried to fit a sink and bath ourselves the bath turned out ok so far but we cannot stop the sink from dripping and we are now losing patience with it and have decided to give up and get professional help, could any wiki wirralers recommend a plumber please that could help us out thankyou

Have you tried plenty of PTFE tape on the threads?
