a) Keeping wild Wombats that are in heat away from the rhubarb.

b) Coating old 78's with, so they all play the 2 minutes silence.

c) Lubricating locks and some machinery.

Summer read the whole thread. People have already said what it's used for. Which is why I gave a silly answer.

go ahead eat it - it wont do you any harm... and yes I am serious... but it doesn't really taste good - I lied about that so I wouldn't recommend it

Whilst carbon is given to absorb some poisons sometimes, graphite is toxic especially for the lungs, but if you eat it it can have an adverse effect on the cardio-vascular system.

if you go to the site on new chester road where the big fire was earlier in the year there may be some there as the company that burned down sold this stuff by the tons .
