why? was hoping there might be some cheap bagains on 2nd hand ones as i know quite a few people who sell ps3's for 360's.

ok can do you a 40 gig old style £140 or 120 slim for £195

Would that include cables and a controller or just the console?

also, these are the40gb 3rd generation arn't they? How old is the 40GB one, has it been repaired at any point.

2nd Gen PS3: Has PS2/PSX Software Backwards Compatibility, Memory Card Readers, 4 USB ports, 60gb Only. can suffer YLOD (10% estimated ratio)
3rd Gen: no PS2 backwards Compatibility , No Memory Card readers, 2 USB ports comes in 40, 80 or 160GB can suffer YLOD (Lower risk than 2nd gen)

4th Gen: Slimline Version, 2 USB Ports, No Linux (now removed in all revisions) comes in 120gb or 250gb variations (unknown if it can suffer YLOD)
