If you can, dont buy perspex, buy lexan.

It's around the same price.

Its a lot less brittle, doesnt chip or crack and its easier to work with.

I think Homebase sells lexan, but quite expensive, a lot cheaper on ebay.

Theres a good plastics place off tower road, forgot what its called though - maybe wirral plastics or something?

Perspex and Lexan are both trademarks wink

Lexan is polycarbonate, and Perspex is polyacrylate. Polycarbonate is more shatter resistant to polyacylate, though gernerally more expensive.

Depends what you are using it for and how much you need.

There is a place in Birkenhead that sells Lexan, though they only sell it in huge sheets frown
