My gf is moving into a new flat at the beginning of next month so were after a few bits, the cheaper the better as she doesnt have much money.

a cooker
some couches
double mattress (possibly have one already)

that might be more things but that's all i can think of at the moment, ill update this if i find out she needs any thing else.

try wallasey auction centre mae. the hae auctions every weds. but they are on holiday fo 2 weeks. so next one is a week on wednesday

i would go with violets idea....freecycle is fantastic and have personally had lots of great stuff,gave away a bit as well.
