Is this the beginning of a wiki bike ride? think
Posted By: Softy_Southerner Re: Mens Mounain Bike - 1st Jul 2009 5:30pm
I did Leasowe to New Brighton last week and Seacombe to New Brighton on Sunday - thats a couple of miles each way with hardly any break. I'm sure I could do further with a rest / drinkie in between!

Jac - Tesco do men's cycle shorts which have padded bum!

How far is NB to Hoylake?

Posted By: MissGuided Re: Mens Mounain Bike - 1st Jul 2009 5:37pm
I measured it on googlemaps, its 6.91 miles from the bottom of Rowson Street to the bottom of The King's Gap.
Posted By: StuyMac Re: Mens Mounain Bike - 1st Jul 2009 5:38pm

On ITV "This Morning", this morning - Dr Chris gave this info but it was from The Sun!. thumbsdown

Cycling Saddles Men With Dodgy Sperm
The Sun - 30 June
Men who spend hours in the saddle could be making themselves infertile.
Scientists who studied triathletes found the more cycling training they undertook, the worse their sperm quality became.

Where abouts in the south are you from Softy? Devon?
Posted By: Softy_Southerner Re: Mens Mounain Bike - 1st Jul 2009 6:04pm
Born and grew up in Kent then spent nearly 30 years in Devon - North devon coast then near Exeter before I came up here 2.5 years ago.

I knew it! We've got folks in Exeter. Devon is generally a very nice part of the world. DH thinks Wirral is very similar to Devon, especially once you get down a narrow country lane somewhere and its all rural. So he's happy enough to be here after spending most of his childhood in Totnes.
