I see the pin number reversal email is circulating again.

It claims that if you are forced to use your PIN number on a ATM machine then if you reverse the digits it alerts the police.#

THIS IS FALSE, its been doing the rounds since before 2006 and is still false and Crime Stoppers did not broadcast this.

Yes, I did need to do a post about this. The email is getting circulated and many people believe it to be true.

I would love to hear the reasons you would think it not to be true that you would expect the average layman to know. Its actually sounds like a pretty good idea and even if it did start as a rouse I wouldn't have been surprised if it had been adopted.

Quite correct diggingdeeper, this has been circulating around for a fair while and people need to be made aware it is not the case. Especially since there is a fair chance that the thieves may feel the need to cut your fingers off for messing them around. I've seen it happen, it's not nice.
